The Witches of Echo Park

Review

The Witches of Echo Park

Lyse, a 20something, has had a pretty good last few years. She went to college, found her own place in Georgia, and opened a plant nursery with her best friend. Everything is going great until she gets a call from her parent figure, Great-Aunt Eleanora, explaining that she’s dying. Lyse catches the next flight to her former California home, totally unaware of the bombshell the elderly woman is about to drop on her…Eleanora is member of a witch coven, and needs Lyse to take her place.

Full of heartbreak, mystery and magic, THE WITCHES OF ECHO PARK will leave you dreaming of the woods and excited for the next installment.

THE WITCHES OF ECHO PARK is fast-paced.  Believe it or not, most of the novel takes place in one day; it’s almost like the story is being read in real time. There’s constant action and plot twists (the good kind, and they’re used appropriately) with every page turn.

Instead of focusing on one character or bouncing back between first person points of views, Benson’s newest book uses the third person to explain the variety of characters without being too confusing. With such different types of women in the coven, readers are sure to find someone to relate to.
