Valentine’s Series: Five Favorite Couples in YA Lit

To celebrate Valentine's Day, some of our Teen Board members wrote blog posts to celebrate all things book crushes, romance novels and awesome fictional dates. Below, Isabel C. shares a list of her five favorite couples from YA. Do yours match up?

Valentine's Day is the time for romance, and what better way than to think of my own favorite YA couples? So here are five of my all time favorite couples in YA lit.

1. Anna and Kai from SWEET EVIL by Wendy Higgins
They've had a long journey to be together, and so every one of their kisses makes me smile.

2. Clary and Jace from The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare
All the swoons. Seriously. What do you get when you put together a broody, blond, golden-eyed boy with a feisty, red haired, green-eyed boy? All the swoons, that's what.

3. Echo and Noah from PUSHING THE LIMITS by Katie McGarry
Echo and Noah both have lots of baggage, but together they are able to deal with it and make each other better. While also being adorable.

4. Emrys and Richard from ALL THAT GLOWS by Ryan Graudin
Talk about forbidden love! To start off with, Emrys is a faery and Richard is the prince of England! When they kiss, sparks literally fly! Their story will enchant you from beginning to end!

5. Layla and Roth from WHITE HOT KISS by Jennifer L. Armentrout
No list of mine is complete without some JLA. Due to her powers, Layla can't kiss anyone with a soul. Luckily, Roth being a demon, he doesn't have one. I squee a little bit every time I think of these two!
