NewReleases_ButtonV1.jpgIt’s now the middle of August and there are signs and sales everywhere for all things back-to-school. But, you can always count on a good book to provide some escapism until the very last day of summer break! In Lisa Haines’ GIRL IN THE ARENA, learn about the life of a gladiator --- but not just any gladiator, a female gladiator named Lyn who takes her late father’s place in the arena in order to win her freedom. Maneuver your way out of some teenage drama in SHUTOUT, a novel about two soccer stars (and not to mention, best friends) who drift apart as one gets admitted to varsity, while the other, junior varsity; and LIGHTS, CAMBERA, QUINCE!, a multi-layered story about four friends and one quinceanera.

New Releases for August 17th
