After the untimely death of her mother, 15-year-old Iris Baldwin --- the main character of Barbara Stuber's debut novel, CROSSING THE TRACKS --- is having a hard time feeling like she belongs, especially since her emotionally absent, "BS salesman" of a father prefers spending time at work or with his new girlfriend instead of with his family. Unexpectedly sent away to rural Missouri --- and far from her only friend, Leroy --- she embarks on an adventure in the hopes of finding the family she never knew had while ultimately finding strength, courage, and love in the process.

Barbara will be paying us a visit next week, but to tide you over 'til then, check out the CROSSING THE TRACKS book trailer below, and let us know what you think!
