Behind Patrick Carman's THIRTEEN DAYS TO MIDNIGHT

Posted by webmaster

Fifteen-year-old Jacob Fielding --- the protagonist of Patrick Carman's THIRTEEN DAYS TO MIDNIGHT --- is a superhero. Well, sort of. After losing his foster father in a car wreck that should've killed them both, he discovers that he's actually been given the power of indestructibility. With best friend Milo and possible flame Ophelia on board, Jacob decides to put his new-found abilities to good use by helping others; that is, until they find themselves way over their heads, and this mysterious "gift" starts to feel more and more like a curse. After all, wasn't it Spiderman who said, "with great power comes great responsibility"?

Patrick will be stopping by next Wednesday, so be sure to check back then! In the mean time, we have a couple of videos about his national book tour and some backstory for THIRTEEN DAYS TO MIDNIGHT to whet your appetite. Let us know what you think in the comments below!
