Sarah Ahiers graduated in 2003 with a BFA in English with an emphasis in creative writing from the University of Minnesota. Her classes involved studying under authors Sheila O’Connor and Valerie Miner. Sarah was also the fiction editor of the 2003 Wayfarer, the literary magazine for the U of M.

She is currently enrolled in Hamline University’s Masters in Writing for Children and Young Adults.

Her adult Horror short story Hole Ridden is published in Dark Moon Digest #6 and is available through Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Her YA horror short story Smothered appears in Dark Moon Digest Young Adult #1.

Her debut novel ASSASSIN’S HEART is forthcoming from HarperTeen (Winter 2016)

She lives in Minnesota with her twin sister, younger brother and a house full of dogs and other critters.
